VW3A3401 SCHNEIDER Inverter 5V RS422 Encoder Interface Card

Function:
For asynchronous motors, the encoder interface card can be used with sensorless flux vector control operations (FVC mode); for the synchronous motor, encoder interface card can be used for vector control with speed feedback operation (FSY mode). Can improve the performance of the inverter, but do not control the motor load:
Zero speed torque
Precise speed regulation
Torque accuracy
Can shorten the response time of torque impact
Transient dynamics performance

For induction motor in the other control mode (the voltage vector control, voltage / frequency ratio), the encoder interface card can improve the accuracy of static speed.

Determined by the model, the encoder interface card can be used for mechanical security features, instead of control type:

Speeding detection
Load the Shun turn detection
The encoder interface card to the Altivar 71 drive to send an encoder input provided by a given value. This feature is devoted to several inverter speed synchronization.

VW3A3401 to the VW3A3407 with VW3A3411 encoder interface card can use these two functions.

ATV71 drive does not support more than one encoder interface card. The encoder interface card is inserted into the dedicated slot.

There are six types of interface cards available, determined by the encoder technology (incremental or absolute):

2, open collector output (NPN): VW3A3403 VW3A3404
3, the push-pull output: VW3A3405 VW3A3406, VW3A3407

RS422ESIM (encoder divider) interface card via the RS 422 interface ESIM output position and velocity of the motor instructions to the motion controller. It can also be used to create a host / slave relationship between the two Altivar 71 drive.
